     Experience a luxury vacation in a villa in Guadalajara! This property is located on the grounds of the El Tapatio Luxury Hotel, in Guadalajara. It is located on a mountainside, and is in a gated community with all services available at the hotel offices.
     Guadalajara was settled by the Spanish in 1500, and is the center of history and commerce in this part of Mexico. It has a high desert/tropical climate, with comfortable year-round temperatures. The house is 2100 square feet, not including the maid's quarters and an entire separate apartment. All dishes, linens, and amenities are provided. It is a wonderful relaxing house, with a maid and cook available (Rosa's chile rellenos have to be tasted to be believed!). There are tennis courts, a swimming pool, and a restaurant all on the hotel grounds. The apartment is furnished with traditional colonial furniture in Mexican style.
     It's only a short taxi ride to the arts and crafts villages of Tlaquepaque and Tonala, and it is 3 hours by car to the coast via the expressway. It is 10 minutes via taxi to downtown Guadalajara, and 10 minutes to the airport, with direct flights to Mexico City, Manzanillo, and most major United States destinations. It is only 30 miles from Lake Chapala. The owners of this property are a lovely couple named Bob and Maryann Huber.
