Shown below is a mockup of a very unique circular home design to be built on a forested 40 acre ranch near the Grand Canyon. The design utilizes passive solar technology to store heat for cold winter nights. Construction is heavy timber with wrought iron connections. The bottom photo shows a model of a suburban Chicago house built around a central courtyard. The exposed ceiling trusses over the family room enhance the North garden view.
